Welcome to Shasta County Sheriff Mountain Search and Rescue (MSAR). We
are a volunteer team founded in the early 1980s, dedicated to the
preservation of human life. We recruit men and women who are dedicated
to public service and have a desire to assist others. Membership to
MSAR requires a strong commitment and an ability to work as part of a
highly functional team. Valued qualities include responsibility,
reliability, maturity, trustworthiness and the ability to conduct
oneself as a professional, even under stressful situations. |  |
